Hi Hong,
I wish I could, but our libguides are password protected, as is our entire library website. :/ We work contractually with another college to run their library and due to client confidentiality, I cannot share. I did get a ton of inspiration from another person’s listserv post a couple of weeks ago, though! Here were the guides that she shared last month:

University of Kansas https://guides.lib.ku.edu/servicedesk/eaid

Mercyhurst University https://library.mercyhurst.edu/friendly.php?s=troubleshoot

Arthur Lakes Library http://libguides.mines.edu/offcampusaccess/troubleshooting

Wichita State https://westernu.libguides.com/eresources_troubleshooting

Windsor University http://leddy.uwindsor.ca/access-librarys-resources-distance-education-students

Saginaw Valley State University http://librarysubjectguides.svsu.edu/triage

Colorado State University https://libguides.colostate.edu/eresources

Colorado College http://coloradocollege.libguides.com/ElectronicResources

Cal State LA https://calstatela.libguides.com/erm

I hope this helps! Thanks to everyone who was able to share their guides. I learned a ton from you all.
Jennifer

Thanks, Sunshine and Jennifer!

Jennifer – I am also interested in the libguide you created. Would be possible for you to share the link?

Thanks a lot!

Hi Jennifer,
Stacie Trail and I have used a context flow diagram in our troubleshooting classes that is helpful for staff in understanding the big picture. We are Ex Libris customers so they are heavily represented in our diagram.
The diagrams is located at https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vqpbUsxDTbuuWDzCZE8UWFR8i6EEPdql and many of our diagrams are located in the overarching folder<https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B376xj2rtKCTa0dJMDNCMDM2blU>.

Hope that helps.

Sunshine

Hi all,
I recently created a troubleshooting libguide for my team members to help them understand different types of issues and who to report them to.
However, they are struggling to understand how our different systems (link resolver, discovery tool, etc.) feed information to one another. I’m going to make a flow chart, but I just know that some of you have this already ☺

If you have one that you are willing to share to help me get started, thank you in advance!
Best,
Jennifer
