[Eril-l] Base URL for EBSCO EDS/FtF?

I use a FTF URL that incorporates our EBSCO customer ID and group.
https://resolver.ebscohost.com/openurl?authtype=ip,cookie,guest,uid&custid=current&groupid=main
I usually put our EZproxy stem in front of it for a variety of reasons.

Just to clarify the previous two answers:
If you are trying to fill in the field that other websites ask for the base URL for your openurl resolver (for the site in question to create openurl-standard-compliant links into your FTF), Linda's answer is the one you want:
http://resolver.ebscohost.com/openurl <https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fresolver.ebscohost.com%2Fopenurl&data=02%7C01%7Cathena%40ucf.edu%7Cb1e28e05843f4df1b46b08d714f13d0e%7Cbb932f15ef3842ba91fcf3c59d5dd1f1%7C0%7C0%7C637000898659814785&sdata=cAvnja5wxfx%2Fenqp%2Fa%2BZ6BHLfxkWuiBD4SRcIQSbwKY%3D&reserved=0>
If you are working with a site that isn't following the openurl standard but wants to create persistent lookup links with a template URL that their site then inserts a search term, like the ISSN into, you would use something like Cynthia's link.
For instance, filling out the HeinOnline "branding" form, I gave them both in the appropriate respective fields.
Here is what I gave them for the second one, for us (EBSCO customer ID uprince):
http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=guest,ip&CustID=uprince&direct=true&bquery=#ISSN_NUMBER#&type=0&db=edspub<https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebscohost.com%2Flogin.aspx%3Fauthtype%3Dguest%2Cip%26CustID%3Duprince%26direct%3Dtrue%26bquery%3D%23ISSN_NUMBER%23%26type%3D0%26db%3Dedspub&data=02%7C01%7Cathena%40ucf.edu%7Cb1e28e05843f4df1b46b08d714f13d0e%7Cbb932f15ef3842ba91fcf3c59d5dd1f1%7C0%7C0%7C637000898659814785&sdata=wPGgWmIjno6jRy8LuLs3uriFHy4ZECUtMo%2BBTwU%2FG4c%3D&reserved=0>
where #ISSN_NUMBER# is what HeinOnline wanted in the link as the placeholder where they will substitute that info into the link.
Note by the way for this second kind of link, you have a choice on whether to use the PFI profile interface, or the "edspub" pseudo-database within the "eds" interface.
These have different settings in Customize Services in eadmin, which also means different "bottom branding" custom widgets can be included in each.

Diane - I just set this up for FullText Finder in our main III menus. I haven’t put it into the link resolver yet.
For FullText Finder, I started with our ATLA direct URL and changed the profile to point to FTF

Subject: [Eril-l] Base URL for EBSCO EDS/FtF?
Hi,
My library is switching to the EDS discovery layer and Full Text Finder package. My question is, how do I determine the Base URL? Anybody who has this already set up, can you send me examples? In the past with other link resolvers it’s been a pretty simple “URL plus ID #” format, but for whatever reason I’m having trouble figuring this out for EBSCO.
Bonus question: is the Base URL for BrowZine different than for other vendors, or the same?
Thanks in advance,
