Would this problem be solved if we were using OpenAthens? Is anyone out there using OpenAthens? I really want to ask for it in our budget request this year, but my director doesn't want to spend money on another proxy solution when we have "a perfectly good proxy" in WAM. (Actually, that may have been a response to my proposal for EZProxy that time.)  I need to draw up evidence for why WAM is not "a perfectly good" authentication solution.

Hmmm, we've been experiencing this same issue for quite some time, and I only just realized it was proxy related.  We don't use WAM though, is there an EZproxy directive similar to this suggestion?  Our current stanza is identical to what EBSCO suggests as of 10/29/18:  https://help.ebsco.com/interfaces/EBSCOadmin/EBSCOadmin_FAQs/set_up_EBSCOhost_in_my_EZproxy_server

I've gotten reports about users not being able to create new accounts since the late summer.  When I reported it then I got a message from EBSCO very similar to what Cindy shared, but no tangible updates since

I saw something on the Sierra listserv about adding the following line to the WAM Forward Table, and when I did, then it started working for me.

Hello -  We are still seeing the problem with WAM and EBSCO ebooks that the user enters valid data to create a user account, but the CONTINUE button never becomes blue.  We really don't want to de-proxy (de-WAMmy?) the link, because if the user wants to read  the book online without logging in, they can do that under WAM proxy.  Is anyone else still seeing the problem?  We've advertised that we will create the accounts for users,  but I just experienced waiting a long time for the user to get the welcome email.
