Subject: [Eril-l] LibInsight versus Microsoft Power BI

Greetings!

I'm interested to know if anyone out there has compared Springshare's LibInsight with business intelligence apps such as Microsoft Power BI. The subscription cost of LibInsight is significant enough to make me consider how difficult it would be to accomplish the same goals using tools already available to us through our institution's Office 365 license. Are any libraries currently using Power BI for collecting datasets from various sources (usage stats, circulation, gate count, reference/instruction, etc.) and constructing interactive dashboards and visualizations? If so, I'd be interested in learning about your experiences.

Thanks!

John
