The ALCTS Collection Management and Electronic Resources Interest Group (CMERIG) is seeking a volunteer to serve as vice-chair (2018-19) / chair (2019-20). Created in 1991 under the auspices of the Collection Management Section, CMERIG addresses issues related to collection management and development of electronic resources, their funding, and selection. Vice-chair / chair: This position serves a two-year term, as vice-chair from July 2018 to June 2019 (the close of the ALA 2019 Annual Conference) and as chair from July 2019 to June 2020 (the close of the ALA 2020 Annual Conference).


Responsibilities include planning and facilitating a conference session at both the ALA Midwinter and ALA Annual Conferences. Annual and midwinter conference attendance is strongly encouraged.
