[Eril-l] Question about switching to EZProxy

Hello Alejandra,
We switched two years ago during a migration to a new LMS. We migrated from III’s Sierra to ExLibris Alma. We had been gradually configuring resources until the migration (not switching, just configuring) and then had to quickly configure everything within a span of 3-6 months. We have around 1,000 resources in our A-Z list, not including what else was in the catalog. Our switch happened quickly (due to a migration), but all links & access had to be tested during the configuration process. It was a tough 3 months to quickly configure & test.
I used our A-Z list of links as a start, then the knowledge base links (not just resources but individual journal & book links), and then went through the catalog to see what else was missing.

Our library is in the process of migrating from WAM to EZProxy. For those of you who have gone through this process, how did you make the switch? Was it a gradual process (switched problematic resources first and then slowly migrated the rest of the resources) or was it done all at once? Additionally how long did it take to transition to EZProxy (from the testing phase period to transition completion)? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
