Hi all,

Have any libraries attempted to set up/successfully implemented a system to dynamically add the Ezproxy prefix to e-resource URLs in your discovery system/catalog/website?

We are hoping to avoid hardcoding our Ezproxy prefix into thousands of URLs in the 856s of our MARC records. Instead, the proxy prefix would somehow be added on the fly when certain criteria were met. We know this can/has been done in some smaller library environments, but will it work on a larger scale?

Please share your stories, insights, etc. Thanks!
