Macalester College DeWitt Wallace Library seeks a collaborative and
innovative Electronic Resources Librarian. The Electronic Resources
Librarian provides expertise in managing and overseeing the electronic
resources collection, coordinating activities related to acquiring and
providing access to electronic resources, and strategically planning for
the future of the electronic resources collection. This individual manages,
develops and utilizes a number of systems and applications necessary for
delivering our collections virtually to library researches both on and off
campus. The Electronic Resources Librarian collaborates closely with
technology staff in the library and throughout campus (ITS, Web Services,
etc.). In addition, the individual in this position participates in
outreach activities and works closely with our academic community to ensure
that the library and media collections most effectively and efficiently
support college curricular needs and scholarly endeavors. The Electronic
Resources Librarian is a member of the Collection Development and Discovery
team.
