[Eril-l] Cambridge adopted the same bad platform as Taylor & Francis?

Although users might not use it, it should be possible to get to a list of the different titles (at least on a desktop) and see your access. (Click the link for Librarians --> Click Frequently Asked Questions --> Under the question, “Are all Cambridge books and journals available on Cambridge Core?” Follow the link to see all of the journals they publish --> select your institution from the “Access Provided By” menu, if it is not already selected. Open access titles and titles you subscribe to will be clearly marked, but you will still see entries for the titles you do not subscribe to.) That said, check to be sure the titles marked as “Access” match what you expected to see; I will need to contact them to correct some things.
If you click on a specific title, you will also see a dropdown menu in the top corner that will display an option to see “all issues”. You can still navigate to an article manually if you need to. If you are willing to experiment, you can open PDFs from a sampling of articles over time to see if the title changed over time.
I agree that it is helpful to see a more obvious list of title changes over time and that I would prefer to have an advanced search option. I know most users do not use advanced search, but it can be helpful when regular searches are not working for the person.
Good luck!
Erin
