The University of Central Florida Libraries is seeking a collaborative, innovative Acquisitions and Collection Assessment Librarian who is creative, technologically adept, and service oriented.
The acquisitions and collection assessment librarian will provide leadership for print and electronic acquisitions of monographs, including approvals, firm orders, and Demand Driven Acquisitions (DDA) plans for ebooks and streaming videos.

The successful candidate will coordinate with subject librarians on selection, deselection, collection analysis, and monitoring of the approval plans, to and assess existing collections recommend new content as part of UCF's accreditation and program proposals reviews.

Minimum Qualifications
* Master's degree from an American Library Association-accredited institution;
* Two years of experience in academic libraries.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in technical services operations using an integrated library system;
* Budget management, including allocations and analyses;
* Familiarity with an online ordering system such as GOBI;
* Proficiency in collection assessment tools and principles;
* Familiarity with MARC and emerging library standards;
