[Eril-l] Video editing tools / downloads

Hi Justin – Have you considered linking to vendor produced tutorials for specific resources? They often have made them available, though they are sometimes difficult to find on their websites, but your rep should be able to point you to them.

Also see PRIMO database of tutorials: http://www.ala.org/CFApps/Primo/public/search2.cfm
“PRIMO is a means to promote and share peer-reviewed instructional materials created by librarians to teach people about discovering, accessing and evaluating information in networked environments.” “Database Tutorial” is one of their categories.

Why reinvent the wheel?

Good luck! - Theresa

Subject: [Eril-l] Video editing tools / downloads

Hi, everyone,

My library is planning to produce resource-specific instructional videos which we will host on or website as surrogates for when in-person or live help is not available.

We've been given a budget of $0 to create the videos.

So, I wonder:

Does anyone know of any reasonably capable video editing tools / downloads that might be available for free?

Thanks much!
