Good morning everyone,

I am in search of policies or similar statements which articulate guidelines for Open Access resources and publishers. I am not looking for institutional OA policies which ask or require faculty to deposit their work, instead I am looking for guidelines that libraries use to select which OA resources are included in the collection and which are not. The policy may be something from a collection development point of view, such as UNT's policy<http://www.library.unt.edu/policies/collection-development/oa-collection-development-policy>, or more of an internal statement used by technical services departments, which outlines specific conditions under which an OA resource will be added to the knowledge base or discovery index (such as if the target is available in the KB already or if the metadata is good).

If your library has a policy or statement that you are willing to share, please contact me off-list at alana.verminski at uvm.edu<mailto:alana.verminski at uvm.edu>. Ultimately, I'd like to use these examples for a publication (with appropriate references, of course!).

Thank you, kindly!

Alana
