Hi Chris,
I think LOCKSS uses the Carnegie classifications to determine the price when we were looking at subscribing to LOCKSS several years ago. Since we didn’t actually get it, so I cannot answer the rest of your questions.

Subject: [Eril-l] Carnegie Classifications
I’ve got a few questions related to some recent conversations at my institution:
1. Does anyone know of vendors that construct their pricing tiers based in part on Carnegie Classification? I know there are some out there, but I’m not sure which ones right off hand.
2. Do any of you have experience working at an institution that has moved from one Carnegie Class to another? If so:
a. What impact did that have on pricing levels for existing resources?
b. What impact did it have on collection levels for new higher-research programs?
Thanks!
