[Eril-l] How to track cancelled subscriptions?

Hello collective wisdom,

I'm trying to figure out the best way to track all of the cancelled
subscriptions outside of an ERM. Currently, I have all of the
subscriptions in Serials Solutions, both active and cancelled. However,
we've cancelled a fair number of subscriptions due to budget cutbacks and
as a result, Serials Solutions is becoming cluttered with cancelled
subscriptions alongside with the active subscriptions.

I'd like to extract all of the cancelled subscriptions from Serials
Solutions and save them somehow, so the Library can refer back to the
cancelled subscriptions and see why this particular subscription was
cancelled and when (trying to avoid institutional memory, which is not so
reliable).

I'm curious about the following:
1. How do you save the information of cancelled subscriptions? In a
spreadsheet or in a different format?
2. What type of information do you keep for each cancelled subscription?
Cost? Year subscription was cancelled? Other types of information?

Any additional information will be appreciated.

Thanks for your time and input.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Henry
