Hi, Kathy.  The CCL-EAR Committee (community college librarians of California who review databases with respect to our consortium, CCL) is actually working on a year long project on such a comparison.  We have only just started but we hope to have something published in 2016, so stay tuned.

Subject: [Eril-l] Discovery System Comparison

We are coming to the end of a 3 year contract for our  current discovery system, and are starting a trial for another system.   I am trying to come up with an effective way of evaluating and comparing the two systems in order to make a decision about which one  to go forward with.  Has anyone done this recently and do you have any advice/ warnings/ ideas/ suggestions, etc?
