Acrobat can block users from printing or editing a document (walkthrough<https://www.wpi.edu/Academics/ATC/Collaboratory/HowTo/AcrobatX/printing.html>). I don't have experience with tools to prevent download, though.

Subject: [Eril-l] Creating PDFs with DRM
Hello,
We receive proprietary PDFs from a third-party as donations. Rather than incur the expense of printing and binding them to add to the collection, we'd like to provide access electronically. However, the third party wants assurances that we can prevent downloading and printing of the PDFs. So I'm exploring this possibility.
Does anyone have any experience with a way to accomplish this type of protection? I'm thinking there must be a product or platform out there that can take a PDF and provide DRM restrictions to it to limit downloading and printing.
Thanks for your help,
Lisa
