This question was partly motivated by learning from a major library vendor that their one of their primary systems can't accommodate IPv6 ranges - that made us wonder if we were somehow unique, but clearly we're not.</div>

We share IP"v6 addresses if the provider takes them (not all do, last time we checked, but that was a couple of years ago — we haven't had to update our IP addresses in a while because the campus hasn't added any new address space.)</div>

Our campus network dual-broadcasts both IPv6 (which look like for example 3492:130:101:500:adac:fc92:2229:5146) and IPv4 addresses (which look like for example 534.534.643.222), in some circumstances. For a few years now we've been dealing with issues where
e-resources platforms start "reading" the IPv6 instead of the IPv4, causing access problems where the IPv6 ranges have not been registered.</div>
