I tend to tell students for whom this would be useful (generally 4<sup>th</sup> year honors or grad students) to use Google Scholar's cited by too. I would be interested if anyone has done a comparison, even an informal one.</div>

I found informally when comparing GS to Scopus "cited by" that usually GS had more, but Scopus wasn't necessarily a perfect subset of GS, so check both. I wonder if we should tell students to check all three to be as comprehensive as possible.</div>
