We recently made enhancements to HeinOnline's interface and authentication system in late May. As a result, you may notice a decrease in some usage metrics (such as hits or visits) for June. After extensive review, we identified and resolved a logging issue
that temporarily undercounted activity between May 27 and July 14. We've also confirmed that the new system is now accurately recording user activity. The changes in reported usage are largely due to improvements in how we authenticate users and reduce server
load, which means some metrics will naturally appear lower going forward. Please be assured that these statistics now more accurately reflect actual use. Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
