<p>The Canadian Association for Information Science (CAIS/ACSI) is pleased to announce its 53rd annual conference to be held in a
<strong><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">hybrid format</span></strong> at Dalhousie University, in the beautiful and vibrant oceanside city of
<strong><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Halifax, Nova Scotia from May 27-29, 2025</span></strong>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>This year’s conference is hosted by the Department of Information Science of Dalhousie University. We look forward to welcoming you to Halifax!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>The CAIS 2025 conference is delighted to be joined by <strong><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Emily Drabinski</span></strong>, Associate Professor at the Queens College (CUNY) Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, who will deliver
the keynote address <strong><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">"Libraries at the End of the World"</span></strong>. Her work focuses on critical perspectives in librarianship, including knowledge organization and information literacy and instruction.
Drabinski is the immediate past president of the American Library Association.<o:p></o:p></p>
