<b>Strategic Acquisitions Librarian</b> and the <b>Manager of Continuations</b>. Both positions are within E-Resources & Serials Management (ERSM), a department comprised of three closely integrated teams responsible for the full lifecycle of electronic and

The<b> Manager of Continuations</b> is instrumental in establishing and maintaining strong intellectual control over continuous and integrated content throughout the acquisitions lifecycle. Leading a team of one librarian and six paraprofessionals, this individual
works closely with colleagues and vendors to effectively manage the payments and renewals for e-resources and subscriptions within Yale’s diverse research collections. Works closely with other units in ERSM and partner departments to establish best practices
that ensure the efficient acquisition, licensing, payment, and renewal of both routine and complex electronic resources in support of the library’s broader mission. This individual also supervises print serial management tasks such as orders, renewals, check-in,
and binding preparation. </div>

The <b>Strategic Acquisitions Librarian</b> is a newly created role designed to meet evolving collection priorities. As a member of the E-Resources Acquisitions team, the Strategic Acquisitions Librarian supports the acquisition and licensing of complex resources
or resources in emerging formats, including in growth collecting areas for the library that don’t yet have well-established library acquisition and management mechanisms. This person will also provide dedicated support for special projects within ERSM, increasing
the department’s capacity for innovation and improving ongoing operations. </div>
