Reviews and validates licensing checklists for all new licenses and ensures alignment 'with the Office of KU General Counsel policy and Library licensing guidelines, consulting with the Head of Acquisitions & Resource Sharing and other appropriate library staff.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
Negotiates directly with providers on terms of use, pricing, new licenses, and renewing contract negotiations for collection e-resources and services.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
Prioritizes and tracks status of all licenses in negotiation from start to finish and maintains or delegates record of license terms in various library systems.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
Supplies licensing and other related data (including Kansas Open Records data) to appropriate library staff and KU General Counsel as requested.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
