<span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span><span style="color:black">The Systems Librarian is responsible for the management, ongoing maintenance, and development of Auraria Library’s integrated library system
(ILS),<span> </span></span>which is currently Sierra, Innovative Interfaces Inc (iii). This position will serve as the in-house expert on the Library’s ILS and work on projects involving the integration of the ILS with other library technologies. This person
will serve a lead role in any ILS migrations, upgrades, and/or implementations; and will work to enhance interoperability between the ILS and other systems that facilitate discovery of and access to library resources.<span> </span><span style="color:black">This
position will work closely with colleagues in the Collection Management and Discovery Division</span><span> </span>to support<span> </span><span style="color:black">electronic resource<span> </span></span>management, acquisitions, and cataloging<span> </span><span style="color:black">workflows
and with colleagues in the Access and User Services Department<span> </span></span>to facilitate circulation of the Library’s physical materials. <br>

<span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span>Faculty members on the Instructor track have a workload distribution of 90% librarianship and 10% service. As a faculty member, this position participates on Library and
campus-wide committees and in CU Denver faculty governance. The Systems Librarian engages in fulfilling the research and educational missions of the Auraria Library and the three institutions on the Auraria Campus – the University of Colorado Denver, the Metropolitan
State University of Denver, and the Community College of Denver. This position is in the Collection Management and Discovery Division of the Library and reports to the Discovery Systems and Metadata, Department Head. The successful candidate will engage in
professional development, such as (but not limited to) ILS User Group meetings, conference attendance, webinars, and courses/continuing education as appropriate. Auraria Library provides faculty members with financial support and time to engage in meaningful
professional development. <br>

Located in downtown Denver, Colorado, the Auraria Campus is home to three institutions of higher education – University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Community College of Denver – both MSU Denver and CCD are Hispanic Serving
Institutions (HSI), and CU Denver is finalizing its HSI and Asian American Native American Pacific Islander (AANAPISI) designations. The Auraria Library serves the campus’ over 35,000 students, the majority of whom are from the first-generation in their family
