If the subscription and DDA are both on EBSCO, you don't need to worry about accidentally spending for them, as the link for both is identical and EBSCO will apply the subscription access, not trigger the DDA.</div>

So the only real issue is if your workflow is creating duplicate records in your opac that you don't want. Our workflow for importing marc records includes checking for overlap with existing records and if a sub record comes in that overlaps with an existing
 DDA record, we apply a code to the DDA record to make it hidden so we don't lose it entirely in case the sub drops the ebook later - I check once a year to see if any of these hidden records need to be unhidden.</div>

If the sub and DDA are on different platforms, that's a bit more of a challenge if the records have different ISBNs (an overlap match point) but we consider the rare DDA purchase trigger in that situation just a "cost of doing business" as the labor involved
 in trying to prevent it is far more expensive than the expenditure on the books so triggered.</div>

Our library is somewhat new to participating in EBSCO's DDA program (or any DDA ebook program). May I ask if any of you have collection development strategies or processes for how your libraries select DDA titles that you would be willing to share with our

One issue we've encountered is that the titles sometimes appear in our subscription packages after we've added the titles to our DDA, but I don't know if that can be helped. And, perhaps that is fine, since in theory we are only supposed to be adding titles
