Appointment may be at the level of Assistant Professor or above depending on experience, record of scholarship, service and achievement. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Director is an academic faculty member of the Libraries’ management team and plays
a leadership role in helping the Libraries meet the challenges of changing modes of scholarly communication. The Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, and promotion of a wide range of departmental initiatives and will help shape future
directions for the Libraries and department. The department includes the following units: Electronic Resources & Acquisitions; Metadata & Cataloging; and Discovery Services.
