Either one required a modest fee to join which went to the university, if they joined the Alumni Association, or to the Friends of the Library which donates its funds to the library. Some universities allow you to join their Alumni Association even if you
are not a bona fide alumni (i.e. they would take their money from anybody.) Our city public library allows online access to anyone with a library card, so you might want to check with your city’s public library. Our public library (San Francisco Public)
has online access to many online databases.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

already have something in place for alumni? What are the low-hanging fruit? And how did the authentication piece work out? Thanks!
