<div>Could this help? It is a Canadian ESL textbook that I used with a high intermediate level student in my volunteer work with Literacy Pittsburgh. At first I was hesitant to use it because one of the aims of our tutoring sessions was acculturation (United
States American culture) in addition to language instruction. But I soon embraced the Canadian perspective presented in the book as a way to teach my Chinese immigrant student about how American culture differs from Canadian culture, and how diversity is an
important value in both the United States and Canada.</div>
