<p class="MsoNormal">Over the last year, EDINA have been assessing the launch of an Entitlement Registry as a viable service for Higher Education, both in the UK and internationally.<span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB"> We have partnered with
the LOCKSS Program at Stanford University to create an Entitlement Registry application that is a self-service tool to provide a single place to upload and keep entitlement records.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">We are pleased to announce that our beta service will be going live on Monday 6<sup>th</sup> May</span></b><span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">,
<b>and we’re looking for beta testers. <o:p></o:p></b></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">What does the beta involve?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We ask that you use the Entitlement Registry (you’ll get a new link to a fresh production version of the site, and a login specific to you) as you would if you were subscribed to it and using it for library business. The beta will run for
two weeks. During the beta, we ask that you send us bugs/feedback/suggestions as they occur. At some point around the half-way mark of the beta, we’ll hold a webinar for people to have questions answered and raise any suggestions/concerns.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">Our beta testing phase will allow us to assess the uptake, benefits and drawbacks of our approach to entitlement logging. Institutions will be able to upload, store and reference both
locally produced records and those downloaded from a publisher.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
