<span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#333333">The University of Chicago Library seeks an innovative, forward-thinking, and service-oriented individual for the position of Electronic Resources Librarian. Reporting to the Head of
Acquisitions Services, the Librarian supports the teaching and learning objectives of the University of Chicago through the life cycle management of electronic resources. Responsibilities include: licensing support; subscription renewals and maintenance; provision
of access to e-resources, including troubleshooting; collecting and analyzing data and assisting with report preparation; contributing to ongoing review and documentation of workflows for efficiency and effectiveness; staying current with emerging trends and
best practices related to e-resources. The position oversees the work of 3 FTE clerical staff and additional student staff; collaborates with staff in Technical Services, Campus and Library IT services, Research, and Access services; plays an integral role
in supporting the management of the e-resource lifecycle. The position will have an opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of new resource management functionality in the FOLIO Library Services Platform. The position participates
on committees, task forces, and special projects as appropriate.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Engage in professional service activities and contributes to local, national, and international initiatives in support of electronic resources management, including the development of resource management in FOLIO<br>

Demonstrates ability to set priorities, exercise flexibility in meeting objectives, and effectively manage multiple projects and assignments<br>
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including evidence of ability to work collegially and collaboratively within and across organizations<br>
Experience with one or more of the following: electronic resources management systems, license review and negotiation, troubleshooting electronic resource access problems, link resolver software, proxy configurations<o:p></o:p></span></p>
