Last year, our library decided to try RedLink with the hope it would serve as a single access point for COUNTER reports and analytics. After the initial setup, which required locating and organizing SUSHI credentials for all (or most)
of our vendors, we discovered the service doesn’t offer much by way of COUNTER reports. In the RedLink Network section, we’ve sent connection requests to about 30 vendors, and only got a response from 10. Of those 10, we can only pull reports from one.
The service does provide some interesting analytics for journals, but being a hub for COUNTER reports is a higher priority for us.
