have been collecting PII for years but without notification to users. This is an important step forward for transparency but disappointing in some of the aspects of how the vendors are implementing it. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Increasingly, to do our
jobs (professionally), we are being obligated to disclose our personal data. There has been a fair bit of discussion about protecting patron privacy but almost none about worker privacy. Lisa</span>

<p class="MsoNormal">Have any of you encountered the pop up on the ProQuest admin site requiring consent to use personally identifiable information? If so, do you know why they are requiring this and what kind of information they are gathering? I have not seen
this kind of notice on any of our other admin platforms and it struck me as odd.</p>
