<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>Position Description:</u></b> Reporting to the Head, Acquisitions, the Monographic Acquisitions Coordinator provides leadership and supervision in acquiring and managing information resources in several formats to support the success
 of teaching and research at the University of Iowa. This position is responsible for developing acquisitions policies and procedures; creating and maintaining positive vendor relationships; monitoring approval plans and Library of Congress Cooperative Acquisitions
 Programs (LC CAP); and overseeing gift receipts and processing. This position provides strategic leadership and coordinates day-to-day activities including personnel management and setting and communicating unit priorities. This position supervises staff and
 works closely with collection management, electronic resources/serials, cataloging-metadata, and finance department colleagues.
