is comprised of research databases, electronic journals, and other online resources in support of the University’s academic disciplines. The collection includes a sizeable number of national and international statistical datasets used heavily for research
in the Library’s Data and Statistical Services center. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

the acquired data varies dramatically. A variety of technological tools are used to investigate sources for bibliographic data, manipulate and load records to support discovery, and troubleshoot access problems. Tools currently in use include MarcEdit, XSLT,
oXygen, and Microsoft Access and the Technology Specialist will be responsible for using these tools to convert and manipulate data for digital projects and contribute to other large-scale data-related projects.
