<p class="MsoNormal">The ALCTS Collection Management and E-Resources Interest Group<br>
(CMERIG) is seeking a volunteer to serve as vice chair (2017-18) /<br>
chair (2018-19). Created in 1991 under the auspices of the Collection<br>
Management Section, CMERIG addresses issues related to collection<br>
management and development of electronic resources, their funding, and<br>

Vice-chair / chair: This position serves a two-year term, as<br>
vice-chair from July 2017 to June 2018 (the close of the ALA 2018<br>
Annual Conference) and as chair from July 2018 to June 2019 (the close<br>
of the ALA 2019 Annual Conference).<br>

Responsibilities include planning and facilitating a conference<br>
session at both the ALA Midwinter and ALA Annual Conferences. Annual<br>
and midwinter conference attendance is strongly encouraged.<br>
