I work with hundreds of publishers on behalf of many clients and I've this time and time again. And as vendor I'm not impressed whatsoever.</div><div id="AppleMailSignature"><br></div><div id="AppleMailSignature">Someone mentioned that the culprit and quite possibly the offending publisher will be monitoring the listserve.</div><div id="AppleMailSignature"><br></div><div id="AppleMailSignature">I'd frankly take this matter up with the head of sales from the publisher concerned - or confront the sales rep. If one exists, I would have your university counsel write a letter to the publisher. I would assume that this might very well be an individual rep going off-book, because this is terrible behavior- you may want to forward the mail with all identifying info to your publisher contact if you have a regional or territorial contact, or any other higher-up.
