 they explained the cause:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:#1F497D">“The guys hosting our server corrected the issue by patching the router connecting the server to the Internet. It appears to have been a flaw with
 the SSL termination at the router. But as with most of these things the exact reason for the flaw wasn’t forthcoming. However, the flaw didn’t affect all requests, which is why we struggled to identify where the problem lay. However a chance observation lead
 us on the right path (a dual-boot laptop – where access from Windows worked fine, but the Linux version failed in the manner you described).”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 I haven’t bothered to report that issue at this point. I assume it is a similar issue to what occurs with client IDs for the Google Maps API, where the ezproxied institutional domain is not registered for the ID or site key.</span><span lang="EN-US"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
