Ohh, I really like LibTech, though it is in my backyard so to speak. There are only typically a few e-resources
management sessions though. Many are general user experience/ technology/ etc., but with an emphasis on gaining practical knowledge. It has a great vibe and great content, but look at the sessions to see if there is enough of the type you are looking
for. Also, last year LibTech filled in 25 hours and they had to shut off registration. So if you want to go, set an alarm clock for this coming Wednesday the 9th at noon CST. :)

I have a love/ hate relationship with Computers in Libraries Conference (that others have mentioned). It can be inspiring, and I LOVE the DC location, but also can be such a cliquey cult of personalities, with some people doing multiple sessions that I
feel are all flash and no substance. Or I just get bored of hearing the same topic by the same person over and over… I feel like I enjoy it more if I don’t go every year, if that makes any sense.

ER&L is excellent. NASIG is specifically serials, so it might not give you enough coverage on other things, like ebooks and other e-services - I don't go to it so I don't know for sure.

Another excellent one, but a little more expensive, is Computers in Libraries. It's hosted by a for-profit though, so if your funding requires non-profit conferences only, that one would be
out. But I've been blown away with ideasx every time I've gone.

to which one to attend, as a"newbie"? My goal is to learn as much as possible about not only Electronic Resources management but Print serials management as well. So far I am considering The ER & L conference in Austin in April, and the NC Serials conference
in March. I would also consider the Charleston Conference in November, (although it's not focused solely on electronic resources and may be too large for a first timer? )
