Thanks, Paul. That workaround does not seem to be working for us here. The epdf reader is still not loading for remote users.

FWIW, I have not heard back from Wiley since Thursday about this issue.

OCLC support suggested we add the following find/replace workaround alongside our Wiley<https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fhelp.oclc.org%2fLibrary_Management%2fEZproxy%2fEZproxy_database_stanzas%2fDatabase_stanzas_W%2fWiley_Online_Library&c=E,1,qMrI8lBxY-9j_BQWfsqpSgTnSTZRDelDMmb5xukoJnTOp49XC5Z0OKAor_gDYyUvPVYpWkjsUUDS9qzufubJ1QCTmV8ZDEvIXk5mZUBZ-sOWVQ,,&typo=1> IncludeFile directive, which seems to have resolved the access issue for users. No word on whether OCLC and Wiley are working on a long-term solution.

IncludeFile databases/wileyonlinelibrary.txt

Find /doi/pdf/

Replace /doi/pdfdirect/

Find /doi/epdf/

Replace /doi/pdfdirect/

Find /doi/epub/

Replace /doi/pdfdirect/

We were closed for Juneteenth, so I didn't have a chance to follow up on this. It's apparent this afternoon that our remote access to Wiley still has this issue. Have any of you heard anything new?

Thank you, Paul. I have an open ticket with Wiley, so I'll give them some more context and see if they'll contact OCLC or have already done so to find out what's going on. I'll also let them know that this is not an isolated issue.

OCLC support (case #998529) confirmed they are aware of the issue and that they need to work with Wiley support to resolve it, as nothing can be done on OCLC’s end.

I attempted to move the Wiley stanza to the top of the config file, to no avail.

Erin, I tested that article. The EPDF reader won't load that title, either. This is the article that prompted my investigation:
