OASPA2026: building a shared, open future


The OASPA2026
<https://www.oaspa.org/events/oaspa-2026-preliminary-programme/> meeting
will tackle today's most pressing challenges in open scholarly
communication with a focus on interactivity and interchange. Selected
lightning talks will spark connections and new ideas. Meanwhile, panels and
keynotes will discuss and invite your questions on:

   -

   The importance of open knowledge in society;
   -

   The meaning(s) of sustainability in open access;
   -

   The value of interoperable open infrastructure;
   -

   The feasibility of algorithmic governance in the age of artificial
   intelligence;
   -

   The re-centering of trust and reciprocity in open scholarly
   communications;
   -

   How OA agreements evolve into next generation collaborations based on
   shared values.

The programme will also encourage sharing of views about reforming
research(er) evaluation and the future of open research. And our
interactive conference closing session will synthesise reflections from all
three days and seek your inputs to feed into a post-conference working
group for principles, practices and partnerships that build a more open,
usable and reliable scholarly record.
