[Eril-l] Join Sage for an Academic Freedom Panel Discussion at ALA 2026

If you’re attending the American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago, come to our panel on Saturday, June 27 at 11:30 a.m.

Academic librarians will discuss rising pressures in higher education, censorship, and new legal and institutional constraints. The panel will focus on practical solutions to these challenges.

The discussion will feature Christina Bell, reference/instruction librarian at Glendale Community College, and Nicole A. Cooke Ph.D., Augusta Baker Endowed Chair and professor in the School of Information Science, University of South Carolina. Sage’s Rhonda Contreras, engagement director, library partnerships, will moderate.
