The NASIG Continuing Education Committee invites you to join us for our
upcoming webinar:
Usage Metrics for AI, OA and More Monday, March 24, 2026 | 1:00-2:00 PM ET |
Zoom
COUNTER has been the standard for usage metrics for more than two decades,
but the electronic resources landscape is shifting fast. Open access,
syndicated content, and AI-driven discovery are all challenging traditional
approaches to measuring engagement. How do you report usage when there's no
click to count?
In this webinar, COUNTER Metrics Executive Director Tasha Mellins-Cohen will
walk through how the COUNTER Code of Practice is adapting to meet these new
realities, including:
* OA-optimized reporting: what publishers are already doing
* Best practices for capturing usage of syndicated content
* How the COUNTER community is developing practical guidelines for AI
usage reporting
* Why a zero-click world doesn't necessarily mean zero-usage
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Tasha Mellins-Cohen is Executive Director of COUNTER Metrics and Founder of
Mellins-Cohen Consulting. She has been part of the knowledge community since
2001, contributing to organizations including UKSG, ALPSP, and STM, and has
led COUNTER Metrics since 2022.
