Come work with our dedicated, collaborative, and diverse team at beautiful Bryn Mawr College in the Philadelphia region. We are seeking a team-oriented, experienced, visionary leader to be the Director of Collection Management, Discovery, and Strategic Communication.
This position leads the Collection Management and Discovery team, encompassing Acquisitions, Cataloging & Metadata, Continuing Resources, and Interlibrary Loan. The Director empowers CMD staff to make decisions at an appropriate level, providing guidance as needed. In consultation with pertinent library staff, the Director sets goals and direction for collection development and management and manages the library’s knowledge collection budget. The person collaborates with Haverford and Swarthmore colleagues to provide strategic direction for TriCollege library technologies and manages the TriCollege Libraries’ budget. They develop and coordinate strategic communication frameworks and activities for the Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) division.
