Sorry for being late to the discussion. Our librarians are asking the same questions
We are mutual customers of EBSCO and Scopus. We also recently switched from “Cited by” powered by Scopus to Scholarly Graph. The jury is still out on which is better, though I am eager to see Scholarly Graph develop as a supplement to or maybe even replacement of Scopus eventually.
While we chose Scholarly Graph for our “cited by” generator for its in-platform content, I am glad we still have our Scopus CustomLink (called EDS – Scopus), which offers “[arrow] Citation on Scopus” on the Access Options menu when appropriate (see screenshot below). If you don’t already have EDS – Scopus added to your profiles, it might be a nice fallback while Scholarly Graph continues to develop/improve
FWIW, this article has “Cited by 1” according to Scholarly Graph, the same in Scopus, and Google Scholar. It’s from August of this year, so *shrug*

For those that are Scopus customers, how did you choose between the Scopus cited integration and this new "Cited by" from EBSCO? Have you found that one is "better" than the other? Or more reliable?
We (Georgia Southern) currently have the Scopus cited integration enabled and I know we can't have both, but I'm curious if there's a preference for one or the other.
Thanks!

We are also using it. As noted deep in the middle of that Connect page, if you had already enabled Scopus "cited by" in your profile (if you are a Scopus customer), you will have to choose which one you want to use in that profile as you can only have one or the other for a given profile.
And of course this only applies to NewUI.
I tend to tell students for whom this would be useful (generally 4th year honors or grad students) to use Google Scholar's cited by too. I would be interested if anyone has done a comparison, even an informal one.
I found informally when comparing GS to Scopus "cited by" that usually GS had more, but Scopus wasn't necessarily a perfect subset of GS, so check both. I wonder if we should tell students to check all three to be as comprehensive as possible.

Yes, I enabled it as soon as it was available. It looks like it will be very helpful for students doing a lit review. Do you have any questions about it?

Subject: [Eril-l] New Citation Discovery in EBSCO?
EXTERNAL Exercise Caution
Hi all,
Has anyone been able to enable or has seen the new Citation Discovery in EBSCO? According to the email EBSCO sent out on September 9th, this new feature should have been rolled out mid-September. There was an article<https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/How-does-the-new-EBSCO-Citations-feature-work?language=en_US#:~:text=Times%20cited%20information%20on%20the,are%20only%20available%20from%20EBSCO.> produced by EBSCO on the 27th about it, too.
Thanks,
