Hi everyone, for several months our library faculty have been iterating a rubric for evaluation of AI in Library-licensed platforms. We are currently applying it in decision-making, and are happy to share the CC-licensed templates that can be found here:

I hope this information may be helpful to our collective work.
Best regards, Dana

Me too! In fact, I presenting to the UCF Libraries’ AI interest group about AI options in Primo VE early in December and want to quote many of the responses in this email thread.
On a related note, I discovered that, unless the email author included their name and a signature block, there is no way to know who sent the email. :-/ If you posted a good idea or your approach to evaluating and did NOT put your name and affiliation, will you reply with your info so I can give appropriate credit?

Hi all,
I'm curious how folks are handling AI integrations in databases such as EBSCO, JSTOR, etc. How do you evaluate these tools, and how do you decide whether or not to enable them (when that choice exists)? If your library has developed a framework or rubric you'd be willing to share, I'd love to see it!
Thanks!
Katherine
