Hi Lisa,

At my library, we are still awaiting a fix for the “device does not meet integrity requirements” error on managed Windows devices. Initially we were told that the issue was that the app requires administrative privileges, but we have found that even admin users are getting the error. This points to the issue being something to do with “Microsoft Azure Attestation” as described in item #3 in the ProQuest Support article about this issue<https://support.proquest.com/s/article/Why-am-I-getting-the-error-Device-does-not-meet-integrity-requirements-when-installing-the-Ebook-Central-app-on-my-Windows-device?language=en_US>.

I’m very interested to hear if others have found a workaround for this issue!

Hello!
The Ebook Central Reader App has been out four months. How is it working? My library is considering making the switch soon.

Specifically, I’m concerned about the following issues:

  * How is the app working with Windows 10 now?
  * How have libraries that have lab computers deal with permission to download the app—or do you already have the app installed on the computers?
  * How is the app working with iphones and androids? Ipads?
  * How many questions are library staff receiving from users about creating an account—is it very intuitive?

Thank you in advance!
Lisa

Aloha Genesis,

I created a ticket yesterday since the app would not install on my Windows 10 PC. I also tried the mobile app on my iPhone this morning, and am having issues with the way text is displaying. Initially, it seemed to work on my iPhone, but then I noticed once I scrolled past the table of contents, I see some bullet points, but no text on subsequent pages. I am about to create another ticket. I appreciate your email, since I was going to have others test as well, but I think this may be a wider issue.

Kind regards,
Allyson

Morning all,

To those who have already chosen to upgrade to the new ProQuest Ebook Central Reader App this week or before: is anyone having issues actually downloading the app to Windows devices, or seeing any books in your bookshelf in the app on Android? If anyone has been successful using this app, I'd like to know, too.

I've already put in a case with PQ/Ex Libris, but I'm wondering if this is an isolated issue or not. I've tried a workstation, two library computers, and a home computer. I am having a hard time imagining this is an error on our side.
