Hello,
Below is information about an upcoming discussion on Elsevier’s ClinicalKey, a resource widely subscribed to by academic health sciences libraries, with some content overlap in Big Deal subscriptions to ScienceDirect. You do not need to be a SPARC member to participate in this conversation. I hope to see you on April 10th!

Subject: ClinicalKey Vendor-Specific Negotiation Discussion on April 10
Dear SPARC members,
On April 10th from 12-1pm EDT / 9-10am PDT, SPARC will host a vendor-specific negotiation discussion focused on Elsevier’s ClinicalKey product. The discussion will be co-facilitated by Kristin Sederstrom (University of Kansas Medical Center), Eve Stano (University of Iowa), and Susan Davis (University at Buffalo).
These briefings are designed to help reduce the information asymmetries between vendors and libraries and to provide support in negotiations. Libraries at any stage of the negotiation process for ClinicalKey are welcome to join the call. You can register here<https://sparcopen-org.zoom.us/meeting/register/LPDKxpm0Txu3nDRuFHj8rA>.
This expansion of SPARC's vendor-specific negotiation discussions into other vendor products was driven by interest from the community. If you would like to suggest specific vendors or products for future calls, please reach out directly!
Nick
