Hi Greg

Sign in to Google Scholar
Via the tribar or hamburger menu, select the Settings cog wheel
Select Library links
Type in your institution (Rhodes College has two entries labelled Rhodes College - Find It @ Barret Library - are they both valid?)
Hover over and right-click the link relating to your current OpenURL link resolver
When the browser's inspector pane opens, look for the element relating to your inst ID value (e.g. for the first Rhodes College entry, it is:
<input type="checkbox" name="inst" id="gs_lib_13391113800776317015" value="13391113800776317015" checked=""> )
Append the GS query URI with your inst= value, https://scholar.google.com/?inst= making your generic institutional query URL:
https://scholar.google.com/?inst=13391113800776317015
If you want to send a user a pre-scoped query, use the format:
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?inst=13391113800776317015&q=Branding&btnG=

Dominic - Thank you, again, for taking the time to answer my question and clarifying the syntax in the query string.  The link you shared worked!

Though I do have the instructions in an FAQ for linking our library to Google Scholar (GS), I had not thought of placing our GS institutional link in A to Z in lieu of the GS link.  Sometimes we overthink an issue and miss how simple the solution is.

We do not use EZproxy to access Google Scholar as it can lead to a general lockout for apparent robot crawling. Instead we ask our users to add our Library (actually the OpenURL resolver), see https://libanswers.brunel.ac.uk/faq/13651

An alternative  would be to offer a prescoped queryURL incorporating yiur institution ID. Ours is
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?submitButton=&q=&hl=en&inst=12984894092213882962
