Position Announcement: Head, Electronic Discovery and Access, Penn Libraries

The Penn Libraries are currently recruiting for the position of Head of Electronic Discovery and Access  (Librarian C). This permanent, full-time position manages the unit responsible for cataloging and metadata management of eResources and sits within the Acquisitions, Access, and Licensing Department. The annual salary will likely be on the higher end of the posted pay range ($51,824.00 - $90,088.00), commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Head of Electronic Access and Discovery serves as one of the leaders of the AAL management team. The Head of Electronic Discovery and Access plays a critical role in AAL's mission to incubate a proactive service culture, ensuring that faculty, students, and staff have expedited, accurate, and relevant access to the broad range of research materials provided through the University Libraries. The candidate is to be an innovative, energetic, and self-motivated librarian and will be involved in a broad range of activities encompassing discovery and access to the Libraries' growing collection of electronic, licensed, and continuing resources.
