The 2024 SLA Midwest Symposium will take place on Friday, June 7, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Central.
This year the planning committee is looking for proposals on a wide variety of topics related to specialized libraries including (but not limited to):

-Case studies in  data
-Practical uses for library data
-Data visualizations
-Special libraries & artificial intelligence
-Taxonomy & knowledge management
-New careers in special libraries
-Advocacy for special libraries
-Negotiation skills

We also strongly encourage students to propose a session! There will be dedicated time during the event to hear from students about their work.

Please fill out the form below by Monday, April 1. Speakers will be notified by Wednesday, April 10.
