Best of Core at ALA Annual Conference: Thinking Big

All webinars are one hour in length and begin at 11 am Pacific, noon
Mountain, 1 pm Central, and 2 pm Eastern time.

Description:

Faced with deficiencies of collection and space, and a failed tax
referendum to address these needs, the Louisville Free Public Library opted
for a transformative investment that reshaped how the community is served.
Explore the holistic and constantly evolving approach to how we reach our
patrons, how we optimize staffing and nurture visitor interaction, and how
we leverage our built environment to achieve enduring value.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of this webinar, the attendees will be able to:

   Pursue multiple strategies for capital project fundraising.

   Able to collaborate effectively with system master plan consultants to
   identify an optimized approach for addressing system needs with future
   capital projects.

   Pursue greater efficiency in library work spaces to maximize public
   space allocation.
